I can't seem to find a one way price on the website. Does anyone know if it exists?

As far as I know you have to buy a 1 day pass which is $5.

From what I remember from a few years ago.. it was $1.00 for a one way cash trip..

and an all day $5.00.
$2.00 if you have a disable pass.

$1 one way sounds cheap to me. Can anyone confirm? Makes the all day pass not worth it unless you make 3 trips back to your hotel per day.

I have paid $1.00 for a one way trip, although the bus driver refused at first.. I had the correct money for all our group. I told him the web site and kiosks all say you can pay on board.. after he let everyone else on.. he then let us on.! I have no idea why he did this.. ,maybe he was having a bad day??

I'm very surprised to find out that this option exists.

I just tried the ART 1-888 number, but no one picked up. I've sent an email to the ART info email address asking about these one way cash fares, and will report back if I receive a reply.

EDIT: I just received an "out of office until tomorrow" email, so it will be at least Tuesday before I hear back. If anyone wants to try the ART info number, it is:

It's a dollar for kids up to age 9 and 3$ for adults 10 and up for cash one way fares.

I just received an email from ART, and they confirm the prices you give, except they add that adults aged 65 and older are also charged $1.

That sounds more realistic, so the $5 day pass is still a better deal for most adults if you plan to take the shuttle at least going and coming.

If I use it it will only be on the way home. So it's cheaper for us.
