Whoa, the Nemo rug is blinding! Holy cow!

I do like the Cars one. It looks neat.

ETA: I just realized this is the UK board. Oops!! :rotfl: I came across this thread in new posts and thought it was in the Resorts board. Sorry for barging in!

Wow, that is VERY Disney! Not to my taste but I can see it appealing to a lot of families!

You are not barging in lol. My reaction was exactly the same = 'Whoa!':rotfl:

Sorry i love them, cant wait to book and stay, nemo is my fav at the moment

I'm really keen to get a quote for these new rooms but cant seem to get them to come up within any of my searches:confused3 I know others already have this resort booked for 2012.

As a family of 6 we take advantage every year of the 42% off code for OKW or SSR but even so it still comes out fairly expensive once youve added your tickets on etc .... plus I doubt this offer will be around forever.

There's a link to the room layout on the passporter message boards

http://www.passporterboards.com/forums/staying-style-resorts-hotels-walt-disney-world/247574-art-animation-resort-floor-plan-2.html

I like the idea fold down beds and the table/bed rather than the sofa beds at ASMu.

I'm sure the decor won't seem as bright in real life as it does in a photo. But for a family with older children (well, they're adults now LOL) I think interconeccting rooms at a value are a cheaper option that worked well for us when the kids were 15 and 18.

im in love with the outside theming: the animation movies are my favorite! the rooms though...yeah, definitely busy, esp. the underwater ones (nemo and mermaid) I think the Lion King and Cars suites look much better, but im not a big fan of Cars so I would go with TLK. I went online to quote it though and it was soo expensive for a moderate...I don't think id be willing to pay so much for all that. Hopefully the little mermaid rooms will do just fine for me :)

As a family of 6 i was so excited reading all the news on this resort but i have to say its soooo expensive i priced it on the US site as it wasnt available on the uk site and it was coming in at around £4000!!!!! totally out of our price range! value for me is obviously nowhere near the value disney think!!!!

i do think my little ones would love it though!!! :thumbsup2

I like the layout of the family suites. I would prefer 1 bathroom and an extra loo rather than two complete bathrooms but that's just my weird preference.;) If it is £4000 to stay there, then that is not my idea of value either! I thought it would be about half of that.:confused3

me too!! i was thinking around £2000! im hoping there was some kind of error as i went on one day it was £3200 i showed my husband the next day and the same dates showed at £4000????:confused3

I think it looks great, i'd love to stay there. Not so sure DH would agree though.

I guess the high price is because its new and that it'll come down in future.

I love the Nemo rooms but we wont ever be able to justify staying there if it's more than a moderate without the added bonus of the DDP.

I hope to stay there in 2 or 3 years but all money dependant.

Its more than staying 2 weeks at ALKV renting points  Thats ridiculous. We have paid £837 for 5 nights in a one bedroom at Kidani that is going in november but I know for sure it would not cost £4000 for accomodation alone.
However I have to say I lovvve them but wouldnt pay that much for a one bedroom. The LM would have to do.:lovestruc

Absolutely love the themeing. But we love Pop Century so thats probably why.

However, the prices are coming out HUGE!!!! No way would any normal person pay that for what is essentially a value resort (although i think they should be classes as Mod)

I think if it was a modthe free qsdp may make it worth while however looking in more detail i think its great then Im biased as love pop. Will book a couple of nights i think in the little mermaid rooms.

Well the decor's very... busy. As with the other Value's it's not to my taste theming wise, but I do like TLM and TLK rooms. Would do a split stay here if the price was reasonable.

I think they look incredible, hoping to stay here in 2013 (when hopefully the prices may have dropped to more similar to the current value resorts?).

I'm hoping this as well, would love to take my kids in 2013/2014 but it will really come down to the cost for us :headache:
