Art of Animation Resort Tips

We are making our first trip to Disney June 8-12. Our girls are 6, 4, and 2. We have planned some time to lay low one of the days and just let our girls enjoy the resort. Any tips or ideas for things to do around Art of Animation? We are staying in one of the Mermaid rooms. Thanks!

we stayed in the LM rooms too. they are so cute. i wanted to check out the cars land and when we left i realized we had forgotten to!! so that is a tip, go check out the whole place! get the surf sandwich it was amazing. i got it every time we ate there.

Definitely walk around the whole resort to see all the themes! You can also walk across the bridge to check out POP if you need a change.

We were there last year similar days! On some down time we really loved the big blue Nemo pool and splash pad area. We enjoyed walking around the resort and taking many pictures with the statues and exploring POP across the bridge! Also they offer free character sketch classes in Animation Hall!
