Art of Animation question

Okay so this may sound silly, but one of our favorite things is opening the doors to our room and being right outside, How different or "hotel" does the Art of animation feel as you have to go inside the building to get to your room???

We were there 2 weeks ago. Very starnge to walk by the buildings and know you cant just walk out from your room. We stayed and Pop and just walked over to AOA to check it out. It wouldnt stop me from staying there but its not the same building/rooms that we are all used to at the value resorts. They were nicely decorated though. Choice of landscaping was right on, in usual Disney style. Very nice.

That is for the family suites only, the little mermaid are set up like the rest of the value resorts.
