ART in the mornings

How are the ART buses first thing in the morning? We'll be staying near the Convention Center and would like to get to security around 7am, which means we would need to catch the 1st or 2nd bus of the morning. Are they really busy at that time? We would be the 2nd to last stop so I worry that the buses will be full by the time they get to our stop. Any experience?

I don’t know specifically about ART, but depending on where, near the Convention Center you are, you could walk to the Toy Story lot. You’d avoid the Harbor security crush, go through at the Toy Story lot and walk right onto the Esplanade.
