ARRRRG! Airfare is making me crazy!

I am becoming so frustrated! Does anybody know how to get reasonable airfare from Winnipeg to MCO? So far the best I can find is CA$675 per person (taxes & fees incl) on NWA. Is that the best I'm going to get? I have 3 (yes, count 'em, 3) trips planned before the end of the year and airfare is going to put me in the poorhouse!

May 17-21, Sept. 23-Oct. 2, Nov. 26-Dec. 4.

Donna, have you tried Cheap Tickets?The website is hard to use to get your best price but I find them really good over the phone. I only use them as a last ditch effort if travelocity or all my e-notifications from airlines are not turning anything up. The number is 1-888-883-2929.They are based in B.C. so they have those west coast business hours. Good luck.

I'm from Wpg and airfare was definately the largest cost. We went through AC and used airmiles for 2 tickets. Other than AC, theres West Jet with connections and Canjet going straight through although they only fly out Wed and Suns, it won't get it too much cheaper though. We thought of flying out of Minn but it was too chancy to drive there in Feb and if we flew, by the time we paid for hotels in Minn, we weren't saving all that much either.

If you are not opposed to flying out of Minneapolis you can save considerably. It cost me just over $300 CDN per person. The drawbacks are either paying for parking (about $10-$15 per day) or stay 1 night in hotel that allows free vehicle parking for length of trip. The drive is really not to bad. If your party is large enought you can save some substantial $$$. If you need any specific info feel free to private message me.

Take another look at Westjet. Through Calgary it is more expensive but playing on their website and taking the cheap deals, Wpg to TO, then TO to MCO it was cheaper. But CANJET is still the cheapest without driving to MSP.

MSP to MCO I have seen as cheap as $225 CAD, but you do take in a large part of the US to get there.
