ARRRGH! Can't find anything for HGVC/ Marriott Grand Vista/ Sheraton Vistana Villages

Looking for March dates and can't find anything on HotelKingdom, Hotels.com, HotelMartUSA. Is it too early to start looking for these resorts? Does anyone have any other sites to suggest? I don't really want auction sites or timeshare owners (because we don't want exactly a week).

The only resort that is available as of now is Cypress Pointe Grand Villas. How does this compare to the other resorts we've chosen? We've stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages a few times and liked it, though I wouldn't mind trying something new. A big concern is that there be a kiddie pool and that it be near the villas.

I haven't seen any bargains for those hotels for a long time. Everyone must know how nice they are. You can of course go to their websites and get rates, not cheap ones, but they are probably no more than the Grand Cypress.

It's not too early for March dates. I just look at there April dates.

You can find Marriott's Grande Vista on Expedia, though the rates seem to have gone up. We paid $120 per night for a 1-bedroom in March 2003, now the 1-bedroom is $188 per night. I checked availability for the Grande Vista in March and April 2004 and it was hard to find availability on all the nights I am considering. (At least on Expedia, you might be able to find available rooms on another site.)

On Travelocity - Vistana Resort (not Villages), $187 for a 2 bdrm villa in March

Marriott website - Grand Vista no special for March, $279 for a 2 bdrm villa. But there is a special for January, $179 for a 2 bdrm.

Expedia had the same price as Marriott for March

Hotelkingdom - Cypree Pointe Grand Villas, $88 for a 2 bdrm in March.

Hi - You can also try booking through Marriott Vacation club. VACATIONCLUB.com. Also....maybe rent directly from an owner. Two sites that are great are REDWEEK.com and TUG2.net. All these places are listed there. Good luck!!!
