Arriving with 1 person less?

Hi there,
Just curious, we invited a friend who lives in the area for one dinner while we're in town and made an ADR for it.
But she is still unsure if she could get out of work in time.
Will the restaurant be too upset if we show up -1 than the ressie?

It happens all of the time. People get sick, etc. We've never had a problem showing up with one less. The only issue is if this were a prepaid dinner or one that requires a credit card guarantee.

We had to do this on one trip at the character breakfast buffet at Tusker House. My husband got sick, so or reservatios went from 3 to 2 -- no big deal.
