Sooooo, after all my planning we are en route!!! Whooooo! Well as I lay here in our way more than halfway hotel I realized we will be arriving way earlier than expected tomorrow! We weren't supposed to arrive until after 6:00, but now should be on property by 2:00. We don't have park tix for tomorrow and I already have a DTD night planned later in the week. I'm wondering what to do!! The plan was to eat before arrival and then just swim and crash, but now....well, I have a half day to plan!!

Details: staying at ASsport for tomorrow night( before checking in to WL on sat ) we need a place to eat dinner, and something to do. I have 2 boys, 9 & 7. Help me plan my bonus free time tomorrow afternoon! Suggestions please!! :)

Mini golf at Winter Summerland or Fantasia Mini Golf

Rent a bicycle and ride around the Boardwalk

Resort hop around and look at all the different resorts

Walk around Fort Wilderness - I think you can visit the horse stables

Why don't you go explore some of the other hotels? We like to check out all of the gift shops and love walking around the grounds. You can take the bus from your hotel over to the contemporary and ride the monorail around the loop getting off at the Poly and GF. There are boats you can rent at any of those hotels. There is usually a discount coupon in with our reservation booklet. I want to say it is about $50 for a half hour for the little Boston Whaler boat. Not cheap, but something different. Or you could just take the water taxi from one of those resorts to the MK and back-Free. There are usually discount coupons in the book for the Disney miniature golf courses. We have never done that so I am not sure how expensive they are. Hope you all have a great trip :)

The mini golf is really fun - a must do for us every trip!

Ok, so I'm thinking mini golf in afternoon, (great idea!!) then take bus to ttc and spend evening at boardwalk and perhaps try to tackle "the kitchen sink" but I'm concerned I won't get seating on a fri night. Hmmmm.

Or- I wonder if I could get tix to mid-evil times on short notice...the boys would love that!

I saw a groupon or a living social deal for Midevil Times recently under Orlando.
