Arriving to Universal by Rideshare

I see that City Walk opens at 8 AM, which I understand to also be security. What time do they allow drop offs by rideshare (uber, Lyft)? I know Disney only allows cars to drop off after a certain point. What about Universal? Thanks!

I've never had a problem with being dropped off early, but I also haven't been since Covid. However, I doubt things have changed. As long as you are there at a reasonable hour (like 7 AM for an 8 AM opening), you'll probably be fine.
