Arriving the night before, ideas?

Before I kill my bf for procrastinating, what is the best way to handle arriving a day early?

We live in California, so all flights arrive late at night. His flight is getting in at 10:30pm on Sunday and his check in is Monday 1/27. Obviously, the biggest issue is transportation to the complex in the morning.

Any one else in this situation? Any ideas how to solve this problem?

I'd stay at the Holiday Inn that is right down from Vista. Then he'd be able to walk there. As for transportation - easy enough, you might be able to get a ca rover there otherwise forking the money over a taxi is easy enough.

I see a lot of people recommending mears shuttle to get from the airport to the hotel. A lot of people recommend the holiday inn sunspree since it is across the street from vista so you can walk.
