Hi everyone,

My flight arrives at Orlando at 11:44 pm on the 27th of July 2017. Since I'll probably gonna arrive at my hotel pretty late (12:30 am to 1 am), when I book my hotel, do I put the 27 or the 28 (since I'm coming at 12:00 am+). Thank you!

FYI: The earliest you can check in on the 28th would be 6:00-6:30 am, but the official check in time is 3:00 pm. If you put the 28th, you might not have a room until late in the day on the 28th. I have had my room ready as early as 8:30 am, but as late as 4:15 pm.

Thanks everyone who responded, do I still need to inform them even if I'm putting my flight information since I'm using DME ?

I would so the resort knows when your check in time is, we all know how systems don't like to talk to each other and I would hate for you to get there and your room not be available because they thought you were a no show :(

We've arrived very late (at resort between midnight and 1:30am) a few times in recent years. We use magical express, so based on our reservation and magic band scans, Disney knows when we're landing, when we get in line at magical express and when we board the bus. We complete online check-in and check the box for our arrival time, so that's another way they know we are arriving late. On at least two occasions, this resulted in the streamlined "straight to room" situation where we received an email and text with our room number and just entered our room with magic bands upon arrival. In other words, we didn't stop at the check-in desk or have any interactions with CMs to announce our arrival or wait for a room assignment. Our room was paid for and assigned to us before we boarded the plane at our home airport. Very easy.

You don't have to as pixarmom posted, but you can call and have it noted on your reservation if it gives you peace of mind. Arriving after midnight is technically the next day, but is still the 27th for check in as far as your reservation is concerned. The computers roll over at 6am, so you wouldn't be considered a no show until 6am on the 28th.

Since I'm Canadian I would love to use online check-in but I'd have to check in anyways to receive my magicbands :confused3
