Arriving late to MCO - car rental ?

Our flight doesn't get into MCO until after 11 p.m. and we will be renting a car. Are all the car rental companies at MCO still open then? Are any better staffed than the others that late at night?

Yes, they are open that late. I've actually picked up a car at 1:00 am from Avis.

It really depends on the car rental agency but some are open 24 hours a a day so you should not have problems. You can always call the 800 number for the specific agency and they can tell you what hours the location is open.

The agencies are 24/7 at the airport. To double check, check your car agency's hours on their website. Or, look at your reservation form, I believe the hours are listed.

Our flight arrives very late as well. We plan to spend the first night at an airport hotel and get up first thing in the morning to pick up our rental car and continue on to WDW. Not only will it save us money on our accomodations the first night but it will make our car rental a weekly rate instead of eight days.

Just realize that cars are rented in 24 hour days. So if you pick up at 7 it must be returned by 7 for example. So if you will be leaving at 7 then picking up in the morning will work otherwise you will pay for another day.
