Arriving Labor Day. Genie +?

Hello. I am looking for a park strategy. We are arriving on Labor Day. Plan to do Magic Kingdom and then park hop to Epcot before the Halloween party starts. Hope to be at the parks between 12-1. Question is do we get Genie + on our arrival day? It's my kids first time at Disney (6 and 8). I originally thought I could mostly keep them busy on the kiddie rides that have short waits like Dumbo, Barnstormer, ect. But I wonder if it will be super busy I'd be better off getting Genie Plus especially when park hopping to Epcot. Any opinions?

It’s easy to spend someone else’s money for them, so I’d say yes there’s value to getting it especially since you’re hopping to Epcot and can stack there even if you only use 1-2 at MK.

That's where my mind is going too. At first I was thinking we could get by without it, but I am second guessing myself now. I know my daughter will want to ride Frozen when she sees it, but isn't at the age to be patient enough to wait in line. I'm assuming Labor Day is super busy?

In the post-COVID world nothing is certain, but this will be our 14th year of going the week of Labor Day. Actual Labor Day can be moderately busy but not like most holidays. And the following week is usually quite pleasant from a crowd-perspective. And party days at MK are showing to be pretty slow.
