I can't believe it's been eight long years since our last trip to FW but the wait is finally over in just 8 days. We are currently camping in Myrtle Beach and will be heading to the Fort next Saturday. Totally excited for my three sons ages 13, 11 and 7. :woohoo: Oh, and the best part is that we havn't told them yet that we're going:rotfl2:

Wow. Eight years.

That means the oldest two were very young and this will be the youngest's first trip.

Keep us updated. And tell us about your rig there in your signature photo.

Thanks,

Bama ED

Congrats. Can't wait to hear all about it. We are returning also after 8 years to the fort. 6 years from DW. (WL). Where are you staying in Myrtle Beach? We will be stopping at MB State Park on our way down. When will you tell the boys? The look on their faces will be worth a million bucks. Have fun. :woohoo:

:woohoo:

I'd love to see those faces when you say " we're going to Disney World"!!!

We are camping at Lakewood CG in Myrtle Beach for two weeks and then off to FW for 8 days. We are not telling them until we get to the Florida border and will have them check out the Welcome sign as we pass it by. I'm sure they'll figure it out. Can't wait really pumped. Do they still do the "pay it forward " on here?

Not sure what that is. Please tell.

Its when someone posts information about an upcoming trip and
Someone who is going to the park prior to your trip mails your family a postcard from WDW post office telling them that everyone at Disney is anxiously awaiting your arrival. The kids get a thrill out of it thinking that M&M sent it to them, I know that they use to do it here but not sure I'd it still happens.

I have done that a couple times. Haven't seen it posted about in maybe 2-3 years. You could restart the fun. :thumbsup2

That sounds like fun. Kids would get a kick out of it.

Congrats welcome back! :goodvibes

That is such a cool idea with the pay it forward! We'd definitely be willing to participate if anyone wanted to start it!

I'm in. Looks like we will be there before you so I could send a PC to your guys.

The kids would LOVE that!! And truth be told, so would I! :)

Perfect, got your address. Do I mail them from The store or FW front desk? I'm guessing there is a special stamp? My husband sends out post cards to about 50 of his students every summer, sometimes two and the kids just love getting them.
