arriving early can we check in/leave bags?

we are leaving NZ on a saturday the 5 november and arriving in new york on the 5th november (no not a speedy plane just changes in the time line) we are going to stay the night at a near by hotel near jfk and fly out the next morning at 8.00 to WDW. we arrive about 10.45 am and then will travel to all star movies.

My question is i just read somewhere that check in is 4.00pm ( i am booking the accommodation through a travel agent here in NZ who books it through there american 'wholesaler' so don't have much info at the moment if at all on the resort.

can we arive and check in if room available even though check in isn't till 4.oopm ( if that is correct time) or leave the bags in a secure place at ASM while we hit the parks?

also what if we get back after visiting a park at night are we still able to get our bags/check in?

any help you could give me would be greatly appreicated .

When you arrive at the resort, check in right away so you are in their system and they can assign a room for you. You will most likely not be able to get into the room. You can have your luggage stored for the day and you can be on your way to have some fun! You can either use the pool, go to the food court for a bite to eat or head right to the parks. When you get back, your room will probably be ready. But there are phones at the parks that you can check and they will give you the room number and you can go right to your room after the parks.
