Hi!

This is my first post. Need a little help with an ADR question.

I am trying to plan a big trip with my family, 12 adults :scared1:,and have already made all of the ADR's that we need.

But, now some of my family is possibly not going to go. Our group may end up being 8 or even 6 adults instead of 12.

If we arrive at the restaurant with a smaller group will they still seat us?

I dont really want to make duplicate reservations for a smaller group because that will tie up space that someone else may need.

And if I call disney in a few months to change the ADR's they will probably look for a smaller table with possibly nothing available.

Anyone run into this problem before? What did you do?

Thanks in advance for any advice. :)

The only time it may be a problem for you would be for pre-paid reservations, or reservations that require a CC hold.

It's not that they won't seat you, they will. However, you will be charged for those that didn't make it to the reservation. Otherwise, there will be no problem at all showing up with less.

Just as a PSA for anyone else reading this in that it doesn't always work in reverse. You can try to show up with a few extras to your reservation and you may be seated, but it's no guarantee.
