Arriving a day early???

Hello Everyone,

We are heading to Disney in November and arriving on a Thursday. We found out that we can fly to Orlando the night before (Wed) and get a cheaper flight, stay the night at an airport hotel and then have the entire day on Thursday to have fun at Disney rather than half a day. My first question - has anyone done this and if so, can we take the hotel shuttle back to the airport and catch the Magical Express after our night in the hotel?

My second question - we are planning a split stay - first half on property and the 2nd half off property. Are we only allowed to use Magical Express the days we check in and out or can we use it a few days later? Does that make any sense or am I losing it?

I would think you could only use ME when staying on property. Think it would be easy to stay on property that first night. We have stayed at Pop before a DVC and it was great. Checked out, gave luggage to bell services and they transferred it to AKV. We went off to a park until our room was ready. So easy.

Yes you can just go back to the airport the next day and take DME. If the first agent you talk to is clueless call back...some of them don't know what to do without a flight number


No, you can't take DME back to the airport a few days after check out. It's only offered during you Disney stay.
