Sorry to keep asking about the weather but has it rained much? I keep checking the reports and they show rain every day What are the crowds like?

Jen its not rained since we got here during the day but it did during the night on our first night. Its 9:33 just now and the sun is out looking like another hot one. As for crowds Hollywood Studios was jam packed last night so looks like crowds are still high. Waiting to go on stars wars last night there was the usual tour pack in front of us around 60, I didnt want to wait in line so just told DW and kids I would meet them outside in shop as I thought it would take so long but to my surprise it was only 30mins. Longest queue we did meet was Toy Story even at the EMH it ws so long we decided to leave for another day as we were all so tired by this time. On boat ride back to BWV I think most of then people fell asleep as the crew told us all that all you seen was the heads nodding when they put the lights on at each stop.

Jen I must have jinked the weather, its now cloudy but warm. Plans are now changed kids and wife wanting to go to Mall of Milenia

thanks for the weather update - like Jen I'm getting a tad weather obesessed! Daft really because you can't do anything about it. Maybe it's because we usually manage to jinx the weather when we're there and end up with much higher rainfall or much lower temperatures than average for the time of year! (Sorry to all you August visitors if we jinx it again!)

Quick Update Day 3

Went to Mall at Millenia yesterday never noticed before but they had guards on the doors at Tiffineys, anyway kids being kids I want I want I want. Later on went to Epcot for dinner and EMH, Dinner was at the Rose and Crown and the food was good but the highlight was being able to watch the firework show from our seat, we had a fantastic veiw with no one pushing or in our way.

Then it was onto the attractions again queues were over the 1 hour mark but soaring was worth it.

Now just getting packed as we are moving onto Hard Rock Hotel for a few days then onto Vero Beach.

great to have an uninterrupted view of the fireworks. We tried to get a late ADR at Rose & Crown but I think we might be too early (I think we got a 6.50 time slot).

Sounds great! I was really impressed with Disneyquest when I went this March, I thought it was much improved on than the last time I went in 06. Have fun

That's good to hear. We are returning there for the first time in years when we go in two weeks.

Day 4 & 5 & 6 Report

Arrived at hard Rock Hotel room s where not ready so left bags at bell services and headed over to the parks and what a joy it was having the FOLP as we managed to go on every ride not once but as many times we wanted and the wait time even for all the best attractions was roughly 10 minutes. Later on headed to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner, and even this didnt disapoint, day 5 was more or less the same except we went to the pool in the morning for our kids to play before heading to River Island and because we where impressed with Hard Rock cafe we went back again and we are so glad we did as the waitresses and waiters made it so special as they had everyone up dancing even when we are eating. When it was time to leave to head for Vero my daughter said that this has been the best holiday so far and she wished that we where staying at Universal instead of heading down to Vero.

Anyway arrived at Vero and kids disapointed straight away as they never gave us the ocean view, spoke with manager who apologised but was nothing they could do that day but could give us the correct room tomorrow, spoke with all and decided just to stay in the same room as it meant packing unpacking and checking out again as they wanted us out of the room for 11:00am.

Been up since 6:30 as they where launching 2 turtles today with radio collars on so that they can track them, their names are lightening McQueen and Rapunzel. Now getting ready to go to pool.
