Well what can i say but a bumpy alyson style start but eventually got here. We left for manchester on 7 th nov for the TL around8 pm Got on the m6 and there had been an accident . 3 hour tail back for 2 junctions. We got off at junct 12 and went on the A roads. Got to the TL at 2340!!! Norm takes 85 mins.on the way up the car started making a whining noise then all of a sudden jumped out of gear

I can laugh now but it was very scary. Dave pulled away and decided he wldnt use fifth gear and it didnt do it again. Looks like a new clutch/ clutch plate when we get home. The room the TL booked was on the top floor despite ringing at the end of the corrider. Luckily the girl i spoke to was there so she moved our room again.
getting to the airport went fine. SA with VA were excellent with my mom. Went to check in and they hadnt kept our seats AND put us in the middleBy this time i was about to blow a gasket. I had spoke to special assistance the day before to check everything and we still had rows 42 and 43. I would hv sat anywhere Accept in the middle. Anyway 2o mins later and no where to change to. I checked our seats for return and they were ok.............so far. When we boarded i am pleasesd to say the seats were rather nice. We had row 21 defg, so had the bulk head at the front with lots of leg room. No complaints of flight and thought the new food system was quite nice. Loved the little box with 2 finger sandwiches a scone clotted cream and jam. Anyway flight was 8.24. Queue for imm was about 120 mins we were told. I hv never seen it so bad. We had to fight through with moms chair. Why did they let 15 amaricans out to one british family. Noone was on desk 6 for SA until some spanner realised and got someone on. So after leaving the pleane it too 85 mins to get bags. I delared my food abd they scanned everything and we went through.THEN some wally decided to take our bags, took off ME stickers and said go to A and collect bags. It didnt register until i got there tht ME went from B. So we had to treck all down to A collect bags go back over to B to get ME. When i spoke to ME they said europeas dont get the privilidge of hvg bags deliverd now it stopped. I was up for a fight now
why on earth send me the tags to hv them ripped off not told the dippy luggage handler what to do and make us walk a mile from one term to another.
i told her my mom had SA and she said thts the rules but if disney sent the labels because of my mom the bag hadler should not hv removed them. Anyway when we eventually got to okw we had nothing we requested. Asked a high floor got ground in a building above 30 so we had the 2 door bathroom. We got building 16 on the ground floor. They could move us in 2 days. By this time i really could not be bothered but then after i had paid for an adult ticket for charlotte to get the adult plan out tickts showed child. That i did not let slip so waited 30 mins for tht to be sorted. Anyway room location actually verygood so not going to move. Unpacked and got to bed at 12.a very tiring day but hey its now 6 am and im hvg a nice coffee. One beds are HUGE. Dizzy is in his sleeping bag in the nuddy as no pj.s (KENNY!!!) poor guy. Wayne if your reading can u upload any pics off facebook for me. Iv put folder as florida 11. Anyway up soon to MK and breakfast at CP. Hope to get a few pics of mainstreet and castle whilst not open to GP
