Arrive US afternoon June 1

We will be arriving HR around 1:20 / 2:00 depending on traffic from the airport. I would love to just relax by the pool for a bit, but don't want to miss anything at US. We will only be at US for that afternoon and evening. The next day we will do IoA all day. Do you think we would have time to relax by the pool until around 3:30 and then head to US until close and see most everything? We don't care about the little kid attractions. We are thrill riders.

just one opinion but US I think takes more time to see than IOA. We saw everything we wanted to at IOA (including a very long wait to ride the incredible hulk) and got thru it all in about 6-1/2 hours, including a quick counter service lunch and skipping all the kiddie stuff. Your mileage may vary.

The studios takes longer overall..The shows run at certain times only.The rides are longer..Example Disaster takes 26 mins to do if there is NO wait .Despicable Me often has a 10-20 min wait even WITH express pass , then you have the actual preshow/ride...We found it hard to do all of Universal in one day and that was skipping the kiddie play areas/play zones.

Yep I think the studios takes longer too. And we too skip the kiddie things......apart from ET if you count that as a kiddie ride......wouldn't miss that.

Thank you! It has MANY years since we have been to US, so I really couldn't remember. I guess we will just get in to HR and go straight to park. We can always take a mid-day break the next day when we visit IoA to swim and relax.
