Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any experience picking up their rental car in a different terminal than the one they land in? We normally fly in to terminal A and pickup there but are flying in on a different airline this time. I want to pick up in terminal A because we have to pick up our visitor toll pass there anyway. Normally I use the Avis app to pick the car either from the plane or waiting at baggage claim but am now realizing it may use your location to default you to the pickup terminal you're currently in? I don't remember ever seeing a terminal designation anywhere in the app when selecting a car. Wouldn't be the worst to bounce from terminal B to A, back to B, but would like to avoid that if possible 😄

I have done it the other way. Came in on A, met a friend who landed 30 minutes later at baggage claim B and then went down to Hertz in B to get our car. I think it decides which side based on the airline you enter, enter an airline on the other side or don't enter one at all and it should give you the option to choose.

I don't think it will matter which side you pick up on. I could be wrong, but last time we got a car at MCO, we started out waiting on the A side because that's where we landed, but the line was insane (like probably over an hour and a half long), so while my husband waited, I bounced over to the B side to see if it was shorter - which it was by a lot. I was out of that line by the time my husband made it over to me.
