Arrive on Jan. 1 or 2, high rates???

Hi all! Had a wonderful trip in May/June, so much so we want to go back when DD is on winter break in January 2008. If we arrive on Jan 1 or 2, are we going to be in shock or will the holiday prices be done? Thank you!

I've been 3 times at that time of year. The crowds shrink after New Year. Very little waiting on anything. I believe holiday pricing stops on Jan 2nd.

At all resorts, value season rates begin on January 1st.

We've been to WDW the last two January 1st, and the price dropes on that day!

But now, with the new system, it won't matther anymore. Since you're gonna pay the rate of the day!

But if you book for January 1st you'll be in the low season!
