Arrival tips

Hi all,

Super, super, super excited about our Halloween trip - we are definitely in countdown mode now

We are off-site at the Kyriad for one night and driving to the Santa Fe the next day.

Just wondered if anyone had any arrival tips that might aid check in at the Santa Fe or help make the best use of our time on the first day?

The plan is to get to hotel reception as early as possible to get our park passes, but I wondered if anyone knows if we can get extra magic hours on this first day?

yes you can - if we're staying near our onsite hotel, I aim to check in onsite in the morning at around 7.30am - that way i get my park tickets, hotel easypass etc, and can be at the park gates for 8am and the start of EMH that day .

The room won't be available, but you can still check in and get your tickets, etc.

Do you think it will be possible to find out the room we'll be in to try and get a parking spot close by?

When we stayed at SF we got there early and got our room key but told it wouldn't be ready till 3pm but we knew our room number, couldn't get parked real close yo building as it had no parking available by it but we were only 5 minutes away so nothing different to other hotels

I was hoping that we'd be able to get our room key when we first arrive - so that sounds great!

I'm pretty sure it'll be packed (Halloween week) but I'm hoping we can get a parking space...we're in an adapted room, so hopefully there is a free disabled parking space.
