Arrival of POP WARNER

I have read, and read, but have NO idea...sorry for being out of the loop.

But everyone keeps saying that Pop Warner is arriving the time that I am scheduled to be there...11/30-12/6, so I am just worried that I picked the WRONG dates now...And being with my parents (who are not old just annoying) they will have something to say like "OHHH we thought you said it would not be PACKED.

Can someone enlighten me??

I don't think Pop Warner week starts until the 6th (it's the first FULL week of Dec.), so you should be fine.

I'm just taking a stab at this...but I recall DH saying something about being in the Pop Warner League playing ball as a kid. Is this it?

They hold a littel league football and cheerleading competition every year but it is usually the first full week of Dec. For us, the number of kids and families didn't seem to make the parks feel much more crowded but the spontaneous group cheers while waiting in line got to be a bit annoying.

Oh my yes it did. DH and I went back in 1998 and we had no idea about Pop Warner until then. We stayed at Sports and omg it was crazy. Then at the parks there were these groups everywhere and they'd break out into cheer wherever they were. Still unaware that this was a yearly thing until I found the this info on the DIS AFTER I already booked for December.
