Three adults - First time at CRT for us - we want a nice dinner, but a light dinner for our arrival night - we won't get in until probably 8:00pm. The Wave and California Grill have ressies around 9:30 - it looks like we could go with flatbreads and sushi, and/or split an entree at CG? Or is that looked down upon. Otherwise, I guess we go with the counter service at the Contemporary. Any suggestions?

I would never do a restaurant that requires a credit card guarantee on arrival night because anything could happen that would delay your arrival and then you'd be charged. So I'd pick something other than Ca Grill.

Good point. I've done less planning for this trip than any other trip in the past.
But, surprised at how much availability there still is for March dining.

I got back just a few weeks ago from a Moms Only Trip and we had an ADR at The Wave. It always doesn't get a lot of great reviews but on this night it was fantastic. In fact, it was our favorite meal of the week. We also dined at Grand Floridian Cafe, Teppen Edo, Kona, LeCellier, and Liberty Tree Tavern. Although none of these were signature restaurants we also still had great meals at these too. At The Wave we both had the beef tenderloin. It was beyond tender and delicious! Hope this helps. :)

We usually stay at Bay Lake Tower and get just in time to check in, watch the fireworks, and then go eat at the Wave. We've never been disappointed - it's delicious!

They definitely have meals you could split/share and some lighter options.
