Arrival:do you get you checked bags or does DCL

We are going Sunday on our first cruise!! I am confused as to whether we should get our checked bags and then meet the DCL representative or do they take your bags right from baggage claim. Thanks!

My understand is if you brought DCL transfers they will take care of your luggage. Just put the luggage tags on them before you check them at your home airport. You will not see them again until they bring them to your stateroom.

If you don't have DCL transfers then you have to get your luggage at the airport and take it with you. Don't put the luggage tags on the luggage until after you pick them up at baggage claim. They collect the checked luggage at the gate into the cruise terminal.
