I am guess that we are going to get to Disney around lunch time(driving so that might be a little early.... but around 1 is what I guess) We are staying July1-9. I was planning on just going to DTD on the 1st when we get there- we always are rushed through DTD so I thought it might be fun to go check it all out(and get some Ghiradelli- which we never get to do because it is so crowded at night...)So that was the plan...and then DH said "you could take the 2 oldest to MK that night while I get the 2 younger ones in bed if you want."
Which would you do- relax at DTD all PM and then maybe hang by the pool that night early bed to hit Epcot for Early morning hours
or
DTD for the afternoon- back to the hotel then on to MK for some night fun with the 2 older ones-(who are big into VMK and will want to do the quests...)
:confused3
Oh and where should we eat?
opinions please

I always arrive the day before I go to the parks. As you mentioned, because of travel arrangements, I never get to the resort until about noon or later and by then, I have been up since 3:00am. So instead of spending the full price of a ticket for a partial day and being tired, I spend a free day(well, not exactly as I end up spending alot at shops) at DTD. You can leave when ever want and not have to feel obligated to stay and get your moneys worth. If you do end up at DTD, definitley try the Earl of Sandwhich. Great food at a good price!
Hope this helps!

I head to the parks. We are always extremely excited to start the Disney vacation. We couldn't wait a day.

Us too. It's so nice to do all your shopping before the parks, then you can take it all in and get that stuff out of the way before you head to the parks and have to carry your stuff (or have it sent to your room, but whatever). Then you can rest and have a relaxing evening to get ready for the next few days of non stop walking! pirate: :woohoo:
