Hey all,

Quick question
Upon arrival day or resort switch day with new reservation your reservation is available to use the water park.

How does this work with the campsites at fort wilderness? They allow to register 10 guests are all 10 ppl eligible to use the water park on that day??

This seems like you can get 10 ppl into the water park for 80-100 bucks for the day?

Any advice or insight on this would be great.

Thanks.

A I think Fort Wilderness has changed to “up to 8” on a reservation, but yes, as long as all 8 are listed they should be able to go on arrival day

Ok perfect. I was surprised there was availability left when booking this close to July under the discounts.

I've read other posts that people book the campsite and no show to gain an edge on ll and perks. I was able to list 7 adults 2 children. Does Disney frown upon that or are they just happy to get there money for a spot even if no one stays on it?

Thanks for your response.

I can’t answer that one. Even though it may be technically ok to do it, I don’t think I could. As a camper that loves coming to the Fort, I would fear that I am potentially taking someone’s spot to enjoy the resort. I guess I didn’t realize it was a thing to book a campsite just for waterpark and jump on the LL??

Biased on what I've read in other posts seems to be a thing. Think of it as a value standpoint for people looking to go to the water park staying off property.

They can book a day at the campsite for roughly 100 bucks and take 8 guests to water park with no tickets saving about 500-600 bucks i believe since they won't need to purchase tickets. Assuming that's how it works.

Actually "value" is the wrong word for it. Let's say a savings based on rules Disney provides if it works like that you can take everyone on the reservation.

Wow! I’m shocked this is allowed. As thenpp
Stated, I could never do this. I know as some
One who travels with an RV, I’d be super annoyed to not be able to get a site because someone wants the onsite perks but stays offsite. Personally, I think there needs to be a “no-show” fee added for those who don’t actually stay in the booked site. SMH

Remember this is pure assumption based on different posts I've read. Not sure if there is any penalty or not for no showing. You'd think Disney would have some measures in place to avoid this situation like this.

Unfortunately, I doubt Disney cares as long as rooms/sites are being filled. Apparently they are trying to increase water park attendance and hope folks will come a day earlier to enjoy it. I miss the good ole days where water parks and park hopping were included In Your ticket. (Long time ago) There always seems to be a loophole somewhere
