If my plane arrives at mco at 6:30 pmish, and I use magical express, what time should i arrive do you think on property (yacht club)?
And
Should I make an adr for late evening at a resort (are they open late?)

I’d guess 830-9ish depending on the line. We arrived April 18th and the me line spanned the entire length of the terminal. Took an Uber to the Poly for $32 instead (worth every penny). I would personally skip an ADR that late just in case your plane has a delay.

Personally i plan on 2 hours from landing to arriving at our resort. It may be less but not always.

I choose to not book any dining within 4 hours of arrival at MCO to leave time for flight delays, picking up luggage, MDE, arriving at resort and getting into room (since you arrive in the evening hopefully your room is ready.)

It's totally up to you but I would not book and ADR if I don't arrive until 6:30PM. I don't want that stress in case anything delays us.

I would do a mobile order once your on the bus to your resort if everyone's hungry - that way you can pick a window and eat upon arrival. Or if you get on the bus quickly, you can see if there's any reservations near your resort and within walking distance. :D

(Oh, and if you don't mind going over to the Dolphin/Swan, you can make a reservation through Open Table - which allows cancellations up to moments before your reservation time)

I would wait until your there and look to see if any ADR’s available.

We do that. Once we are on DME we look for something. If nothing’s available that appeals to us, we do QS. We have had enough flight delays we never make an arrival day dinner ADR unless we are scheduled to arrive by noon

But realistically will there actually really be something on a Friday in June for four people? doubtful...

Depends how flexible you are, especially if you use both opentable and disney website, there's almost always something.

Not sure how many in your party, but I would also recommend a private car or Uber to the resort from the airport. Easily worth the convenience and time saving….
