Arrival Day morning extra magic hours

We are arriving at the Magic Kingdom early enough to participate in the extra magic hours in the morning. My question is: If we are staying at Pop Century beginning that night, can we participate in the extra morning hours that morning?

Yes. Do your online check-in through MyDisneyExperience between 60 days ahead of check in date to 48 hours before check in date, so your EMH goes smoothly if you aren't stopping at Pop first.

I've done it a few times due to overnight flights from the West Coast although we always stop at the hotel to drop off our carry ons. We always have a change of clothes and sun screen with us to prepare for the day and we admittedly head back to the hotel around noon if our room is ready.
