I need some ideas for something to do on our arrival day. It's an anniversary trip for Dh and I. Thanks!

When when you will be arriving (time of day) and what time of year are you going?

Ok! So there won't be any special event type stuff going on, but I think resort hopping is fun! Just getting on the monorail and going around to the deluxe resorts and exploring a bit. I did this on our arrival day with a boyfriend on a surprise birthday trip for me, and it was so laid back and romantic feeling, and was a great way to start our trip. Maybe try to schedule a nice dinner at one of the many great restaurants at GF, Contemporary or Poly. Get drinks at Trader Sam's at the Poly and watch Wishes from there. A late dinner at California Grill is romantic and gives you a great view of the fireworks if you schedule it right. (This was my favorite thing the boyfriend and I did together.) Those things would all set the tone of the trip for me for more romantic, adult trip. Or if you like the Yacht Club/Beach Club/Boardwalk area, have a nice meal over there and walk around. You can see the Epcot fireworks from there. Hope some of that sounds fun!

That sounds wonderful! Thank you :)

I would say walk around the Boardwalk and go to Jellyrolls, the duelling piano bar. We love it there :)

I second the Boardwalk/Jellyrolls, there are some great restaurants on the Boardwalk, specifically Flying Fish if you aren't opposed to a pricier meal. We get in around the same time on our arrival day, and we're just going to get dinner and drinks somewhere in Downtown Disney. :)

The boardwalk sounds good, as mentioned above. You could also reserve a horse & buggy ride. We did it last year. It wasn't too expensive. They offer the ride at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I think they may offer it at one of the other resorts as well. Have fun.

DH and I have our own arrival day traditions. We get to the resort super early, lounge at the pool, then visit DTD for a nice dinner. It's not as romantic as some of the other things mentioned, but our little tradition makes it really feel like home.

Have a meal at a resort you're not staying at, and have always wanted to visit! I'm finally checking out Kona Cafe the morning I arrive

What we usually do on arrival day is go to DTD and use a quick service credit on the Wolfgang Puck Express.

Then we just shop at DTD and get in the mood with all the Disney Decor.

You can also go to the bowling alley in DTD and get wasted.

Uhhh, anyways.....

schedule a fairly early fancy dinner at one of the resorts. After dinner go to POR and see Yehaa Bob in the lounge.
