I have a lunch reservation at Homecomin and a dinner reservation at Raglan Road and we won't be able to eat at both! I cannot decide which one we should choose. We have never been to either restaurant, it's my husband and I, no kids.

What does everyone think?

I love Raglan Road. Just found it loud - but with no kids I wouldn't be so bothered! (Never ate at Homecoming so can't comment on food/atmosphere).

My DH and I just went on our first trip adult only trip since our honeymoon and strolled pasted Homecomin. Right before leaving me saw a special on TV with Emeril and it look so good. It was so good and so cute inside that we're going back with the kids in May. BTW we had to wait weeks for a dinner reservation to come up and thank goodness it did after all the raving...lol.

Good Luck and Enjoy

I really like both so hard choice. The food is top notch at both. RR has live bands and Irish dancing so that's a big plus. Ask to be seated in the main room to see the show. It is loud & difficult to hold a conversation but the entertainment is worth it. Perhaps check out RR bands and dancing on youtube to get a sense of whether the entertainment puts it over the top for you.

How are you arriving? What time is your scheduled arrival? Travel day is wrought with many unforeseen, uncontrollable delays.
I never make an ADR sooner than 5 hours after our flight is scheduled to land.
I would stick with dinner.

I would stick with dinner.

Our flight lands in Orlando at about 8:30am and the lunch reservation is 12:50. That said, I'm leaning towards RR. I am a dessert person and dying to try Ger's bread dessert!

Raglan Road is great, but it's an atmosphere I think kids would enjoy more than the one at Homecomin'.

So I'd go with Homecomin'.

Well we don't have any kids so if we made our decision based on whether or not kids would enjoy it then we'd never go to RR lol

I would go with Raglan Road.

While the fried chicken is amazing at Homecoming, it is hard to order a balanced menu there for a somewhat reasonable price. If you don't want to share the same salad.

We are doing an arrival day late lunch at Raglan Road ourselves for the third time, so I guess you know which one I'd pick. We just love that place. Yes to shepherd's pie and bangers & mash. All the desserts are great, too. And what's not to like about a pint of Guinness?

I have never been to Reglan Road, but can't wait until our next trip to give it a try. Nothing but rave reviews and I'm 38% Irish, so I gotta love it!!!!!!!!

You have a tough choice! I ate at both and love them both. I'm actually going to both on separate days I love them so much!

Raglan road has live entertainment which is nice for dinner. Going with my boyfriend it ended up being a wonderful date night. Homecoming was great, the food was fantastic and it just hit the spot. Atmosphere much more chill.

That being said if I had to choose I'd pick Raglan Road hands down. The drinks, food and entertainment made it perfect for a couples night out!

Thanks all. I cancelled my reservation at Homecomin and kept RR for dinner. If we want to, I can always try to book Homecomin another day. There are too many good places to choose from! I want to eat at all my favorites but try new places too!

I can not miss dinner at Raglan Road with that being said, I would suggest eating lunch and Homecomin and then drinks/bread pudding at Raglan Road! Some things can not be missed and both of these reservations are amazing. Also you can always get a dinner reservation at Raglan Road. You could change it to a different night.
