Arrival Day, Can We...

We are staying at Wilderness Lodge and will be arriving late the night before. Is there a place that we can have our luggage stored on site? We are thinking about going to the hotel early, and spending the day at the pool until we check in. Can we get into the locker rooms or, if necessary, the bathrooms to change into our suits? Feasible?

Not sure what you're asking. Are you staying off site the first night and want to keep your luggage on site? There are lockers and restrooms out by the pool at the WL, we've never used them but I think you have to show a room key at the rental place (which I think is the Trout Pass Pool Bar).

I'm assuming you want to know that if you check in early the next morning at the hotel will there be anyplace to store luggage. The answer is yes!

You can check in as early as you want. Luggage services will store your luggage until your room is ready. You can use all the facilities of the hotel, including changing rooms and pool until your room is ready. Just be sure to pack swimsuits, change of clothes, etc. in a separate bag.

So if you're staying off site for a week before you get to WL, you can check in a week in advance and still use the facilities?

I had the very same question. We are going to check our luggage and hit the parks ASAP on arrival day!! Have fun!!

You all are great! I knew I'd find out the answer quickly on DIS! We are staying off site and checking in the next morning. We had decided to add an extra day to our trip and WL is full. By checking in early, the kids can still have a full day at the pool. Cheers!
