On our upcoming trip, we will be staying at Coronado springs. We land at 8:05 am, and have an 11:50 am ADR at Crystal Palace. The problem is, we have to meet Walker Mobility to get our ECV (DH broke his ankle 6 months ago, doing better but got it just in case) between 10-11 am at CSR. In the worst case scenario, they don't get there until 11, can we get on a bus to MK and make our 11:50 ADR time? TIA!

You won't make it.

Issue is that to make it at the latest timing for the ECV, then you go down to the bus stop. Maybe the bus is there! Maybe you wait 20 minutes. Then you do the CSR loop to pick everyone up, assuming you're meeting them at El Centro, then you're off to MK.

Then, there's security....

I wouldn't make an in-park ADR any earlier than 12:30, with a preference for slightly later. The transport is your wild card. You could just miss a bus and be waiting 25 minutes at that time of day.

what happens if your flight is delayed? happens all the time are you ready to pay the no show fee

Not a chance. Even if your flight is ontime the transfers and checking in make it unlikely at best and that's with no injury. Besides why add so much stress to the start of any vacation?

It is possible to make it, but it would be tight. A delay anywhere along and you may not make it. Can you move the delivery window up for the ECV? I'm assuming it just gets left at bell services? That way, if you luck out with a quick transfer onto ME, you'll have the ECV waiting for you when you check in.

That is cutting it incredibly close, I would change plans if at all possible. As others have said if even one thing is delayed you will not make it .

You could keep looking for a later time at CP for lunch or early dinner so you don't have to worry about timing. If there are not available now, keep checking, people change plans all the time and things pop up, even a few days/night before as people cancel to avoid the fee as they finalize plans. You can also watch the cancellation thread on here for your month and coordinate to grab one someone is going to cancel. Also, you could put a request in on Touring Plans Reservation Finder to send you a text when they spot one open - it is free, just have to make an account. Enjoy CP and bouncing with Tigger!:tigger:

Your assumption is not correct. Walker Mobility is not a "Preferred Provider" who has paid for the right to leave the scooter with Bell Services. With Walker you have to meet the delivery driver in person and accept the scooter. It can not be left for you.

In that case, making that ADR becomes a bit riskier. Not impossible, but could be very tight. I would try to move that ADR out by about an hour, then, barring a significant flight delay, you should be fine.

We went ahead and cancelled and will hope for a time that works better for us to come available. I always feel better about cancelling when I know doing so probably made someone's day when they got the reservation instead. Thanks everyone!
