Okay here is a wierd question...I need a solution for this one.

We arrive at MCO at 1:15pm on a Thursday afternoon and will be using DME. We plan to go straight to WL, check in and let our daughter swim (swim suit will be in carry on backpack). Sunscreen? I have NEVER seen a bottle of sunscreen in a 2 oz. size for carry on. What is the solution for this one? Going without isn't an option for any of us, especiall DD and I. We are both VERY fair skinned and burn VERY easy. I don't want to start the trip off with a sunburn.

I have seen very small bottles of sunscreen attached to larger bottles (kind of like a free sample). Water Babies comes to mind, from WalMart. The small bottle has a hook on it to attach to your backpack.

I got a tiny travel size bottle of sunscreen today at Wal-Mart. They had several brands in the same area where they have the usual travel sized items. I'm doing the same thing - taking in my carry on so we can hit the pool when we arrive.

If you can't find that, you can always buy a slightly overpriced bottle of sunscreen at the resort gift shop when you get there. You'll pay a little bit too much, but it's better than being sunburned!

Oh, I've had this problem, too.

Walmart has a huge selection of sunscreen, and I found small sizes of the Coppertone in the blue bottle (forget the name, it's the waterproof, sweatproof stuff). I just bought a bunch of those. I'm sure it's more expensive that way, but what can you do.

Or, you can just buy some in the resort gift shop. They do stock a few different varieties of Coppertone, it's much more expensive, of course, but it is convenient.

How about picking up one of the small empty plastic bottles in the travel size section of the drug store and putting some sunscreen from a larger bottle into it?

Another option would be to apply it before you leave home or at the airport. Maybe use the end of a bottle and throw it away. We are pretty fair also and generally, if we are going out to swim after 3:00 I don't use sunscreen. Chances are, by the time you get to the pool, it will be three or after. Or, buy it at the airport after you land. Of course, you can buy sunscreen at Disney also.

You could buy the reusable travel bottles they sell at Wal Mart for shampoo and fill one with sunscreen.

Most baby stores (Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby, etc) have the small travel sized suntan lotions! I have about five of them...lol!

The limit on airlines is 3.4 oz and I have found plenty of 3 oz sunscreens in the travel size available in drugstores and places like that. More and more stores (CVS, RiteAid) have a larger selection of travel items because of the restrictions.

We have also used wipes that have sunscreen on them.
They are sold individually or in packs. Purchased them at drug store, sorry can't remember which one- was with other sunscreens.
Otherwise I would do as other posters suggested and just bite the bullet and buy some from the gift shop at the resort. Have fun!

I bought small bottles of suncreen last year just for this purpose. They sell them at Walgreens & CVS, usually their own brand so it is cheaper. Have fun!!! :goodvibes

Neutrogena Dry Touch sunblock comes in a 3 oz. tube and it fits nicely in the 1 qt. ziplock with room for a pot of lip balm and some eye drops. :thumbsup2
