Arrival at BLT parking lot on check in day

Can we park in the BLT parking lot really early on check in day. We are moving from Boardwalk to BLT one morning and we want to go to MK at rope drop. MK opens at 8 so we want to arrive at the BLT parking around 6. Will they let us park that early? We will just leave our stuff in the car.

And I suppose secondarily are we crazy getting up that early.

I've always been able to park at the resort hotel lot any time upon arrival day. If you're switching from one to another, you should be able to park at both all day, so you should be able to arrive at BLT as early as 6am like you're planning.
