I know what you mean, someone I knew once said that they would never go and then when they did they loved it - I felt very smug! I have only been once with kids - the rest of the time it's been adults only and we have had a ball! 20 years of Disney!

It is the most exciting thing ever, I dont know why she is like that, I love my mum but she can be really horriblesometimes,what is with mums? they can be real horrible sometimes

I have similar problems with my sister. She loves going to France (not DLRP just France generally) - I've been twice and had truly appauling experiences there so would not go back. However when she is planning her holidays she bores me rigid with telling me every minute detail of her trip. On the other hand she is completely anti-America. She has NEVER been in her life but was one of the Greennham Common women back in the 80's so hates all things American because of that (pathetic I know!). Therefore she couldn't be LESS interested in our trips if she really tried at it but still manages to have a dig about our trips all the same. She wouldn't even let us take her DD with us years ago (back before we had our DD - we'd been told we couldn't have kids so our neice got a LOT of spoiling by us!)

Ironically her DD (who's now 18) has just booked her first 'adult' holiday with her boyfriend....and guees where they're off to in November...yep ORLANDO! My sister was mortified but my neice is so excited....it does make me sad though that she missed out when she was younger!
