Army Wives on Lifetime ?

Yeah, I agree it's just not the same anymore. I'm still watching, but not nearly as interested as I used to be. What happened to the lesbian couple? I think at the end of last season, they were getting ready to possibly adopt, but I haven't seen either of them or heard a mention of either of them at all this season. Did I miss something?

I'm totally bored with this season. I miss the old characters and don't like the new ones. I find myself watching some, then just hit the delete button.

I'm not thrilled with it either. I end up surfing the net while watching and then I ask, why am I watching?

I do like Brooke Shields though, so I'm going to keep hanging on a few more weeks and see how she plays out.

However, Joan is lame....to be such a you-know-what, then get talked to by a junior enlisted wife and do a complete turnaround? Not buying it. And I'm bored with the Denise/Frank story already. Gloria and Pat could be interesting, I guess, but only if I bother to stick around to see how it goes.

I am about ready to jump ship; it is really bad. I am going to watch one or two more episodes though. I want to see Truman (can't remember his first name) tell Hector about a letter from Holly regarding her new roommate and her sleeping with someone on the first date... and obviously Hector doesn't have his temper under control, and then in walks Patrick who starts talking about his new girlfriend.

Do you think Brooke Shields will be a love interest for Michael? Yea, the Denise/Frank thing is way over. Enough already.

Sat down last night and watched this weeks episode. I have to admit, I felt so lost I rewound it twice and I think I'm caught up on this season  I see Gloria becoming the new Roxy type, started with Hector, brash, in your face, divorced him and jumps right in with someone without bothering to get his last name. In real life that could have been a Lifetime movie where he turned out to be a serial killer a la Ted Bundy. The new faces bore me. Ashanti is obnoxious, as is the chick that was living in the motel room. The motorcycle reminds me of Denise's rebellious phase. Jackie seems to have mellowed but all bets will be off when she finds out that the guy she encouraged Gloria to have fun with is her son the West Pointer. I also fear that they are setting Hector up to become unglued and dangerous to both himself and others. Not liking this season so far....

I was hoping for Roxy to stay.....I'm just not interested in the new characters.

What is going on with Frank and Denise now? I think I must have deleted before I saw what their story line was. :happytv:

Frank and Denise are apart for their anniversary, blah blah, and so he sets up a special dinner for her. And she is the paragon of FRG wife and is the den mother to all the younger ladies. Yep, I'm bored. Although the part where Joan got all mad at her was mildly interesting....but completely silly.

Maggie (motel room) is annoying; get your stuff together already. If you were in the Army, you know how it works. And really, with the stepdaughter but her son has to toe the line? I don't even see where she and Eddie like each other.

Agree on the Hector thoughts....finds out about Gloria from Truman, goes off on Patrick, becomes a danger to himself and others....

Congrats to Sally Pressman( Roxy)! Her rep confirmed to Us Weekly that the actress and her husband David Rogers welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Wednesday, April 10.

"Sally would just like everyone to know that she gave birth to a healthy baby boy and they are blissfully happy enjoying their perfect baby," her rep says.

The pair met at an L.A. acting class more then seven years ago and wed in September 2011 in Santa Barbara, CA.

Just caught up on last weeks episode online before the current one started. I have to say, they're losing my interest quickly. Already dislike Brooke Shields' character, making her a stereotypical ball busting female pilot won't win any new viewers IMO either.

ETA: looks like we're calling it, Cruz, Pat and Truman all together

Oh, I just HATE Brooke Shields' character...normally, I like her as an actress but the writing is awful. And --- I know, it's a TV show, but --- a Colonel Wing Commander would NEVER chew out a 3 star general like she did. And they don't combine Presidential missions with other ones, for that exact reason.

How stupid. "I won't be ignored". Bad writing, and (sorry, Brooke) bad acting. Speaking of, I didn't buy Eddie Hall as a bad *** former Ranger...when he first started yelling, I did, but then he sort of petered out and lost steam. Although, I did appreciate "I'm not getting my a** shot off because one of you is lazy"....I'm sure that has been said in real life many times in Afghanistan.

I may have to be done, and that's sad, because I liked this show from the beginning but yuck.

I watched it last night and FINALLY -- a ball buster!! Loved Brooke Shields. You GO girl!

Brooke and Michael will butt heads until they fall into bed. :lmao: Anyone else think this is going to happen?

Did I miss something? How was Holly drinking and gambling when she is only 18?

I think you can gamble in some states at 18, I know you can buy lottery tickets here in GA at 18. The server never asked her for ID, just offered her the drink, assuming she knew what a Long Island Iced Tea was.
