Army Wives on Lifetime ?

Where is Claudia Joy? Is she still in rehab? She was back for like one episode.

Well, it's over. I must admit that I will miss this series.

While some of the writing was alittle off the wall, when Roxy was saying goodbye it reminded me of all the times we PCSed. It was always a very bittersweet time. Saying goodbye to friends and at the same time looking forward to new adventures.

I cried........I will miss this series.

I thought the goodbye with Joan & David was so touching.

It said "season finale" but didn't say "series finale" in the corner while it was on.

But ---- ARE YOU KIDDING ME? The plane goes down? yes, I know that happens in real life but not usually to a group of people with all the tragedy these folks have had. I think that was unnecessary....them marching/flying off into the sunset would have been fine. They went a little too far with the plane going down. And that's not how you end a series, which makes me think they have left the door open to one more season. But these people seriously need some happiness in their lives for once! Except Roxy, she's happy. And Pamela.

I was thinking about that this morning. When Michael was on the phone, I don't think he ever said anything about the plane. Only words like "oh no" "where". We thought he meant the plane had gone because of the storm.. But could it have been something like Claudia Joy killed in an accident?

Everything they had been showing kept saying us "finale", but last night they chaged it to season finale. I think they have not decided for sure if it is cancelled or not, just like when Denise had the baby. I'm betting we'll at least get a short season to wrap it up unless Lifetime comes up w/ something better to put Catherine Bell in (since she jsut signed that new contract).

I'm thinking there is more to come. When Roxie and Trevor where doing the final ride through, the song was "this is not the end." And we really don't know for sure that the plane went down. I would like to think it did not -- that would be terrible. What was the point of Fort Marshall merging if there was not going to be anyone left to merge? Perhaps they will pick up with Roxie and Trevor at Fort Lewis?

I don't think the show is over. If the plane went down and many were killed it would probably be an excuse to bring Trevor and Roxie back. I really don't think the plane went down. That's to obvious. I agree with a poster above that it was more than likely a call about Claudia Joy.

I thought too at 1st the plane went down, but that call could have been about anything....heck, the plane could have went 'missing' due to the storm and they are all deserted on an island!

I thought last night was well done, but the season as a whole was pretty cruddy.

Don't think Roxy will be back regardless. Sally Pressman is on "talent hold" or something with NBC which means Lifetime lost her. The rest of them, who knows.

You all are right, doesn't mean the plane went down. They did this once before, in a season finale, where the plane had weather problems but landed fine. And it could be CJ's death, since Kim Delaney has been having.....issues....lately. Although that seems so cruel to the Holden family, first Amanda then CJ but whatever.

Anyway, too many loose ends (like everyone except Roxy and Trevor) for this to be the series finale, IMO!

I didn't like ending - over the top for me. I've got to admit though I'll definately be watching next season to see what happens.

The "oh no" could be....

The plane went down, everyone died.

The plane went down, everyone acts heroically and the next week it's 6 months later and there's a new calamity.

Trevor,Roxy, and family had a horrible crash resulting in their death OR somehow canceling their Tacoma move.

Claudia Joy was killed or injured in a way she required so much cosmetic surgery that she's able to morph into a new actress.

The "oh no" was a family emergency that calls away/eliminates CJ's family totally from the story line.

There is no point in killing off Trevor and Roxie. I think the plane crashed and some of them will make it to a deserted island and we will have a new show called Lost Army Wives.

I really hope that was the season, not series, finale for this show. Not because I want to watch next season, I barely watched this season, but because I would hope they wouldn't give it such a crap ending. You invest into these characters and get attached to them and their struggles, etc...then they all just die? If that was the series finale, i'm going to have to put this show on the "worst series finales ever" thread.

I agree that that call could have been so many things. The plane with everyone we know on it is only one possibility. Didn't they show a few groups getting on one or two different planes? Maybe a different one went down, or they don't know which one yet? Of course this show has become such an over-blown drama fest, it could have just been a call telling him they lost contact with the planes.

NBC owns this show. Catherine Bell has already signed a 2 year contract to continue if the show gets picked up again by Lifetime.

Just read in the NY Daily News that it has been renewed for season 7 with a 13 episode order.

That is good news. I was hoping that last show was the season finale only. But I don't think it will go on after this -- unless they change the show to focus on Roxie and Trevor.

Thanks for posting this news. I've always enjoyed the show even with some of the bizarre story lines.

It also said it's one the highest rated cable series in women 18-49. I don't know key demographics but that sounds like what advertisers are looking for to me. I figure if the ratings stay up, the show will continue.
