Not sure if I was understanding the one reply. Can you use 2 military tickets on one person for 8 days?
I have 2 adults and 1 child needing tickets for 7-8 days.
I also have family traveling with me with 2 adults and 2 children.
Thanks for the help.
YES. You may buy 6 total AFS tickets in one transaction.
You may use more than one 4-day ticket per person. In your case of two adults and one child:
. . . 6 AFS 4-day PH
OR 6 AFS 4-day WP, OR
. . . . .3 AFS 4-day PH tickets + 3 AFS 4-day WP. Cost would be $138 each ticket x 6 tickets = $828.
. . .6 AFS 4-day PH
AND WP for $165 each ticket x 6 = $990.
. . . Magic Your Way Stars and Strips Ticket, which is for length of stay only, for an 8 day ticket for 2 adults + 1 child = $974
Cheshire Figment has verified a new Disney rule that allows the purchase of more than 6 AFS tickets, as long as the additional purchase is done in a separate transaction of max. six tickets. Disney has no maximum number of transactions you may do this. It is not confirmed if SOG would allow the additional transactions. Perhaps
only Disney ticket booths offer these additional transactions, which would mean there would be a sales tax charge for the additional transactions.
Here is an excerpt from Cheshire Figment's Ticket Post, plus a link to an entire explanation of the AFS ticket program:
Disney has added (on June 8, 2011) to the internal rules: "Guests may participate in this offer as often as they wish as long as no more than six (6) tickets are sold in each transaction." But it still limits activation by a spouse to five tickets; to activate six tickets the service member must be present.

As the poster before you pointed out, if you wanted a complete ticket for 8 days with everything included, the cheapest ticket (by a few dollars) would be Magic Your Way Stars and Strips Ticket. You may also purchase a regular Magic Your Way ticket (expires 14 days after first use) through SOG, which is a regular Disney MYW ticket without the sales tax charge.
And yes, it is as confusing as all get-out. If I made a math error, someone please correct me.
