Armed Forces Salute tickets questions...

Anyone have the email address to SOG ticket office? I have tried calling but I keep getting their voicemail.

I know when I called our base (Fort Leavenworth) they were vouchers not actual tickets which required activation at the gate (which it sounds like SOG come activated) but also they expire at the end of 2016 (since the agreement is a year by year situation). Just make sure when you're getting them that they have the expiration date of 2017 (I don't know when they release that they extended the agreement if the tickets sold automatically are the 2017 expiration or if you have to specify).

For us Fort Leavenworth is close enough that we can drive and pick them up directly at the base (about 35miles away). FWIW Fort Leavenworth sold actual Universal Orlando tickets not vouchers. I know that Universal Orlando has a page on their website listing the bases/military places you can buy tickets though I don't know if they even have vouchers like Disney does are if they are always just normal tickets.

I've always ordered ours in the past from the ITT office at Ft. Leonardwood. They fed ex them out and you get them quickly, but they are the vouchers that require activation - you can still enter them in MDE though for FP+. I didn't realize the SOG ones are already activated. That would certainly save some time since getting them activated at the ticket office can take quite a bit of time we've found. The ITT office at Leonardwood doesn't ask for any proof of eligibility but sounds like SOG requires the proof of eligibility via email, so I guess that's why they go ahead and activate them. I'll certainly keep that in mind if/when the salute offer is renewed.

Yes, when you fill out the order form, you must also fax in your ID card (copy of).

If you order from SOG, the tickets are already activated. They will ship them to you for $10. You can immediately connect them to MDE, and setup fast passes at 60/30 days depending on where you are staying. There is no need to go to Guest Relations if you order from SOG.

I recently found out about this.
I love the fact that we no longer need to get our family to guest relations on our arrival day to activate the tickets. Best thing EVER!
