What is the Armageddon Special Effects?

Is it a ride?

OR a tour around showing special effects??

Is it suitable for a 3yr old?

i wasn't impressed with it - i can't remember much and i only visited this attraction 18 months ago!

i think that you just stand in a room and its dark and there is smoke.

no - i wouldn't say suitable for a 3 year old.

maybe someone else on here can give a bit more detail.

i thought that this attraction was a waste of time. :sad2:

I took my DD2 into this and i think it scared me more than it did her, she found it a it alarming with the loud noises but i guess she liked as it she kept asking to go back lol.

Theres a few explosions with smoke and fire.

They have this pre show which was a bit boring then you went into the main attraction.

Thanks Emma ;)
I know your dd is the same age as my mine so she should be fine.
She will be 3 by the time we go and shes a little dare devil anyway :rotfl:
Shes been going on rides since she was 10months (little rides)
Nothing really scares her, wish i was that brave, she takes after her dad

I would recommend standing away from the centre of the attraction as that where most of the smoke and fire comes from.

I nearly pooped my pants :rotfl: , i think the floor virbrates aswell i cant remember. Someone else may remember tho :confused3

Not sure if im right in thinking that this "ride" was my first ever disney ride. I think the studios were fairly new, maybe not even a year(not sure) anyhow, thought it was superb at the time. I'd never experienced anything like it. Went on it at xmas 2006 and thought it was pants, shame really as its themed on a film i really like.

My son was 5 and he was petrified, I can't remember a lot about it as I was desperately trying to find the way out. We haven't been back on it since.

You are i a room-sorry on a space station and it's getting pounded by an asteroid so the ceilin caves in things explode around you-there is a lot of air and some serious flames we got very toasty...

i wouldn't take my 7 yeqar old niece on it purely because when we first went on there was this little girl of about 7 next to us she was really confident not a bit worried and then at the end when the lights came back up she was white as a sheet and cried all the way out she was totally traunmatised.

If littleun doesn't like the dark (like me!)

you are plunged into darkness at the end for a fair while (more than iwas comfy with anyway:rotfl:)

The bangs and explosions were nothing but the flames and darkness were quite intense.

I don't think it's suitable for a 3 yr old. No matter how brave he/she is. But you have to know.
Maybe you have enough time to do it twice. Maybe you can go first and your husband is waiting with littleone. So you can check out, if it is good or not. If you feel comfortable with it and for you kid, then go again with both.
It's a very intense experience.
