Ariel's Grotto Reservations after closing hours

I made AG reservations today for our trip in May. They have reservations starting at 6pm and going through 7:xx. According to the calendar, DCA closes at 6pm.

What happens to the people who have reservations later than closing time? How does that work?

I'm not sure. I would call Disney dining. I know if you book before park open they let you past the rope drop. I haven't heard of them booking after hours.

I have never heard of them booking after hours either...the latest I was able to get a seating on a 6 pm closing day was 4:50. I wonder if they are going to extend the park hours for that day?

If you call DIning, let us know what happens.
I think they have to honor them.....they just updated the calendar yesterday and changed some late April days from a 9pm- to a 7pm closing so I assume they must have the same situation. I do know last year I had dinner PS reservations at Carnation Cafe and they called me on my cellphone in the GCH very early that morning to say they were closing for dinner that night....we had a package booked so they had all our contact info. I was impressed...but it would seem unless they can contact people it's very "un-Disney-like" to leave you without notice.

I called Disney Dining, and they had different hours than what is posted on the website. According to the website, DCA is open 10-6. According to the CM. they are open 10-9. I have 6pm ressies, so hopefully the Disney Dining CM is correct.
