I saw on Mouseplanet that Ariel's Grotto will be in rehab from Sept 22 until sometime in November. Does anyone know if that means you can't meet Ariel? Do they move her to another location? I can see why that might not work....with the tail and all... Same old story, 4 year old IN LOVE with Ariel, would love to see her, etc. :)

Make sure you take her to the Little Mermaid show at Disney Studios. She will love it!

I posted this same question a few weeks ago and was told that Ariel can be found in Toontown (the Hall of Fame with Cinderella) when the Grotto is in rehab...

We will do that for sure! I know she is in Spectro and also in the SADCT parade so we can wave if nothing else. For a yr old, that may be good enough.

Does anyone have any ideas what to tell my children (10 and 6). Yes, they still think that is where Ariel and her family lives there (I tell them that every single time we go) and it use to work out nice since her meet/greet was right next door. What do I tell them now. We will be at WDW 11/26-12/5. Thanks.

This is a long shot, but maybe tell them her family moved to Disneyland, and she's at WDW visiting? Or how about they temporarily got legs so they could visit Melanie (her little girl from the second movie)? I never thought about it, but I've told my 4 year old the same thing about that lagoon.

hhmmm, maybe before we go I can say she moved to CA LOL
and hopefully she will be visiting WDW. :)
My son will probably buy it may finally "click" with my dd LOL :)
Thanks Patridge4ever!
