So, booked AG for an 11 am lunch on Tuesday, December 9, is that "too early" for good princess interaction? What's the average wait between princesses? Any dishes you recommend avoiding? Anything I should know/be prepared for/tips? DD turns 3 just after our trip, so we'll be celebrating, should I let the restaurant know, will they do anything (extra) special?

At this character meal, they seat everyone and then the princesses are announced and come by the tables. It's different than the other character meals where the characters are constantly milling around as guests are being seated. So, it doesn't matter what time you're seated, as everyone during your seating will get to see the same princesses. What matters is how close you're seated to where the princesses come out.

hi! during our july visit we had the first seating for breakfast.... it was perfect!
we got a very good table and saw all the princesses!! the princesses were very nice (plus we got to see princess minnie which my dd just adored)

i think the first seating for lunch is good :)

I know at WDW you can stop by City Hall and get a free button that says "My Birthday".

Personally I would get one if they have one. Don't know what may happen but I believe if your child is wearing one the Princesses at the very least will wish her a happy birthday.

Oh, def getting the birthday button, even though actual day isn't until Saturday. We have four days total, first one at DCA, the next two at DL, and final Surfs Up breakfast, DTD, and relaxation the last day. To say that I'm excited is a complete understatement!
