We are new to the Disney experience. We are leaving on Tues 12/2 and plan to have lunch at Ariel's Grotto on Wed with the princesses. My DD is 4 1/2 and I was wondering if she should dress up. She has a Snow White dress and a Minnie outfit. We are definitely bringing the Minnie outfit, but I wasn't sure she would want to wear the Snow White outfit all day. I am rambling, but just wanted to know what to expect for the lunch.

Also, how hard is it to get from DCA to Disneyland? We plan on spending most of the day at Disneyland, but will need to go over to DCA for the lunch. (We are meeting a friend who will only be there for the day who really wants to see Disneyland but didn't want to miss the lunch.... )

Thanks!!

I don't have much info specific to Ariel's Grotto because we're eating there for the first time on Christmas. However, DCA is about 100 yards from Disneyland (Gate to gate) so its close. However, Ariel's grotto is toward the back of DCA so allow yourselves extra time to walk alll the way to the restaurant. If your DD wants to dress up for the lunch, she can always change afterward if you want, but the pics would be cute with her as snow white.

I would bring the dress....even if she just wears it for lunch. Many girls wear their princess dresses there.

It's a quick walk from park to park....maybe 5 minutes to the grotto from Disneyland's entrance.

Bring a dress for sure. Once your DD sees so many others dressed up, she will want to as well. You will really enjoy this! We've been to Ariel's Grotto many times even before when it was a Capt Mickey theme. The food is incredible now!!! DD is not a big chocoalte fan so we requested the orange sorbet for her which was light and yummy and we got to enjoy the chocoholic desserts. The molten cake is amazing!

I would bring the dress. There are so many cute little girls in dresses in the parks, she might love it. If not bring extra clothes and change her. You can get a locker with in & out priveledges all day so you could store extra clothes there. :)
DCA is about 100 yards from DL, you will walk thru security on your way in and be in the middle of both parks. :)
