I just got off the phone with Disney Reservations after waiting 20 minutes and they couldn't answer my questions, Anyway...

I've never been to the Cove Bar but I have attempted several times and it was always closed (granted this was during the Christmas holiday season). Any opinion is welcome but I'm really looking for people that have experienced the Cove during World of Color and their advice. I will be traveling by myself from Thursday-Sunday next week and would like to take in the show and have a few drinks. I understand they started to charge people that stay in the bar, that's fine with me.

Questions:

I was told that I can not reserve a seat in the bar and it was first come first serve. Should I get there right when it opens?

Anybody know the hours?

Can I order off the regular menu or just the app one?

From my understanding the view isn't the greatest but will I get most of the show from their? Is it worth it?

Should I just get the reserved dining? I might feel a little weird by myself waiting for the princess to come around. ha ha

Thanks!

I don't know all the specifics here but can help on a few.

I really don't think it gets that busy from reports since WoC opened.

Part of the reason it doesn't seem busy is because the view isn't great. I estimate viewing from there being a 2 of 10. Almost worthless. You see the show but not "The Show". I'd highly suggest getting a FP to get into Paradise Park for WoC, and getting a glowtini at ElecTRONica after.

The WoC dining packages are ok, they don't get you a better view, but do take care of needing dinner elsehwere and a FP from the free distribution machines. FYI the Character dining at Ariels Grotto is during brunch not dinner.
