Ok, so where is this Grotto in Disneyland? I can invision to the right on the castle where Snow White's little area, and then to the right of that the walkway/parade route to fantasy land but that's all I've got...where is it exactly, WHAT is it, and when is a good time to go.

My dd (4) saw the parade on our morning news show and when she saw Ariel on the float she said, "how is she going to walk done and take a picture with me?" LOL!! I have to make sure we see Ariel so I need to work on that.

Is it best to just go to an information Kiosk and ask about the characters?

You have just about got it.

From Snow white's wishing well you can see the grotto (my wife and I queued seperately with the kids at these two locations and were able to run back and forth between the two with the cameras).

It is now right behind Buzz Lightyear, and very close to the Matterhorn. If you walked to the right of the castle, past the wishing well, to the Matterhorn you could not miss it.

She;'s not there all day, so you have to ask a CM for the timetable of when she will appear.

You are on the right track. Just keep going right. It is in that small area between Tommorowland and Fantasyland. If you stand at the entrance to Tommorowland and look to the left just before the new Buzz ride there is a small path. It is right there on the right, tucked behind the fountains. It is a small meet and greet area where Ariel sits in a seashell. The hours are posted on a sign, and I believe it is also listed with the other meet and greets in the schedule you can pick up at the gate. Ariel is my dd favorite also, but she's 16!

I love the mermaid!!! Ariel is my fav, but um yeah...I'm just alittle more than 16 :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (39 to be exact :rotfl: )

Who needs to grow up anyway!! :goodvibes

Ok, I'll make that walk and check the kiosk for times!! Thanks so much!!

No worries, 16 or (in my case almost 36) I LOVE Disneyland and even worked there in my younger days. I always tell my husband that if we lived closer I'd be workin' there to this day!! So you stay young at heart!!!

Thanks so much I'll definately check it out so that dd can have her picture with Ariel. Thanks :)

My dds got to meet her when we were there last week, and she was really great. I love how the characters don't rush you through meeting them, even if there's a line-up.
