DH just sprung a trip on me. I'm sorry I don't have time to research...for me that's the best part. Anyway, I know it's a long shot on such short notice, but I'm going to try to get reservations at Akserhous (forgive the spelling!). I just want to be sure I remember correctly: Ariel is USUALLY there in her gown during lunch. We'd prefer lunch over dinner, but will do dinner if it increases our Ariel chances. We were just at WDW for New Years and did CRT and Cinderella's Dinner.

Ariel is 'suppose' to be there at lunch and dinner. Of course, that's subject to change. Some have reported seeing Belle in her yellow gown instead.

When we went in Oct and Nov we saw Ariel at lunch BOTH times.

Good luck!

I had lunch there last month and Ariel was there with her dress on. The lunch was okay.. cold salad buffet followed by your choice of hot meal.

Enjoy!

Yeah, we're not too overjoyed by the menu. We may just play it by ear and see if there's availability the day we end up at Epcot. Since we just did the 2 princess meals a few months ago and have just 3 park days this trip, I don't think DD will be very disappointed either way. Our school won't have fall break this year, so we're doing 2 short trips instead of one long one. I'm trying mark a few "to-dos" off the list so we won't be so rushed in October. This has been totally spur of the moment. Very unlike me. I'm just about to explode.

I just booked lunch there. I thought the menu looked good and a little different. My daughter is 7 and thought she would want to see Princesses (esspecially Ariel, her favorite) my son is 4, but we will see alot of Mickey. Has anyone been their?

We did the Askershus lunch last November. My kids loved the princesses so much at CRT breakfast, that night I called and was able to get in for lunch. I wasn't overly impressed with the food... but maybe we just don't like Norweigan food? I had the pasta, it wasn't bad... the kids ravioli was pretty good though. I didn't care for the cold bar...We saw Ariel (in her gown out front), Belle (blue dress), Jasmine, Alice, and Mary Poppins came out late.

We are going this time for breakfast. We would LOVE to see Belle in her gold dress... who is usually there for breakfast????

We'll be there in the end of May.

Thanks!

JE

We've been for breakfast but it was a few years ago. They were just starting to book it. Belle was in her regular blue dress, but that may have changed. My DD just turned 10, so we're looking at $89 plus tax for lunch. I really hate to spend that much on a grilled chicken salad. :rotfl2:

We went there for lunch on the 4th of July! I wasn't crazy about eating Norwegian food on the 4th of July (it was ok) but dd (6) is just crazy about Ariel so we had to go and see her in human form. This summer we have ADRs for the Princess Storybook Breakfast and are hoping to see Belle in her gold gown.

We went for lunch in January and Ariel was there in her beatutiful gown. She was wonderful with the kids and when we saw her again at the grotto in MK, she remembered them and asked if they had a good lunch with her princess friends. It was magical! At the PSL we saw Ariel of course, Belle in her blue dress, Mulan, Jasmine and Aurora. My DD4 chose the restaurant, but DS2 was in awe of them all and left lunch with lipstick kisses all over his face. He didn't want to wash them off even when we got back to the room! It was a wonderful experience, I hope you have as much fun as we did!

I was there last month and Ariel was there in her dress. Belle, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, and Aurora. They spent a lot of time at our table taking pics and signing autographs. My dd really enjoyed it.
